Blog Tutorials: Posting videos

Hey guys, and I'm back with more posts about my time in school. Today I was given an assignment by my teacher: Make a post on my blog about how to post a video (or at least a link to the video) on a post. So basically this is a tutorial. Needless to say, this being a potentially not-very-important post, (no offense to the people who think such a matter is so significant), I'm going to do it anyway. Homework's homework, anyway (needless to say, this post won't be very long).

In order to create a video link inside a post, you only need to click the button that with the underlined word "Link". You then highlight the word you want to turn into a link and decide whether the address you're about to enter is an email or web address. Copy the link and when people read your post, they can click on the underlined word and be brought to the address you assigned the link to go to.

Well, that concludes my brief tutorial on how to add links on your post. Hopefully this was somehow helpful and see you all next time!

P.S. Sorry if I didn't include pictures or any other directions that will make my tutorial more understandable. I just didn't have enough time. Sorry for that.

An Inspiration

Hey people, welcome to my first post in this "MYP Design Cycle" blog, where this will basically act like a (temporary) kind of "diary" for me to keep track of what's going on in school and everything. For this post, I'm going to discuss about an assignment a teacher just gave me; I'm supposed to find something on the Internet that give me inspiration. Anything; videos, webpages containing articles, the point being that that thing inspired me in any way. So here's my pick for my inspiration right in this link...

Watched it? That right there was a 15-second trailer (OK, the video cut some time to make it into a 20-second trailer, but you get what I mean, right?) of the Marvel movie Guardians of the Galaxy that was causing such a commotion a few weeks ago (as of this date, of course). This inspired me in a way that you might consider isn't really "inspiring", if you get what I mean. Why did this inspire me, you ask? Well, here's why. This movie was apparently so good (and trust me, after seeing the actual movie it really was) that in virtually almost every YouTube video I watched, this ad would pop up before I could watch my video I actually wanted to watch.

So with all these ads about the movie popping up every few YouTube video I watched, the ads prompted me to investigate more about the film and its details. In the end, I was fascinated by the movie as well (actually, I was fascinated by the movie a few years before its release, but the ads made me even more excited about it) and when I watched it, I had a blast.

So there's that thing on the Web that had given me inspiration, as shallow as the inspiration may be. I hope this was satisfactory for you readers, and for my grade-giver (who is possibly reading this at the same you other guys on the Web are). I hope this post has been useful (in some way I couldn't imagine) to you guys out there, and see you all next time. Bye!
